David undertook his undergraduate medical training in Dunedin and Christchurch, followed by post-graduate anaesthetic training based around Wellington. His two sub-specialty anaesthetic fellowships were then undertaken in Melbourne, Australia. A passionate believer in clinical excellence, David now has 20+ years experience in providing anaesthesia and analgesia in both gynecological and obstetric surgical settings. He has been based at Braemar Hospital since 2015. In his spare time, David enjoys skiing, cycling, and spending time with his family.
