First Laparoscopic Surgical Assistant

My Nursing training was in 1973 at the Kaiser Franz Joseph Hospital in Vienna, Austria. My Primary assisting skill and education was developed at the Calgary General Hospital in1988 where I obtained a First Surgical Assistant Degree from the Mount Royal University of Calgary. I started my career as First Surgical Assistant in New Zealand in 1999 in Cardiac and Vascular surgery. This assisting expanded further into Orthopedics, Urology, General surgery and Gynaecological Endoscopy.

My personal aim is to focus on the best possible intraoperative care to our patients, minimizing risks and providing excellent surgical support so patients can have confidence in the expected result.
