Genital Prolapse

This is a prolapse of the bladder. This lady was referred with a sensation of a "lump" down below together with uncomfortable sexual intercourse.

This patient was unable to open her bowels without inserting her fingers into the vagina and supporting the perineum (area between the vaginal opening and the anus). She has a rectal prolapse: The rectum is coming through the vaginal canal.

This patient was referred for a second opinion. She had a complete eversion of the vagina, one of the most uncomfortable type of prolapses.

This lady has a severe prolapse of the uterus that is seen protruding outside the vagina.
